Welcome...
This site is specifically to list resources in helping someone find a job. Check out www.employmenttocome.info for my employment feed.
Feel free to save this site to your Favorites for referencing to and follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/employment2come and find new job listings by clicking "Jobs" on this site. When you follow me on Twitter you'll find my references to great job tips.
I have attempted to lay this resource out so it's in a step-by-step system (these steps are listed towards bottom of the page):
1. Bookstore - some books that would be good to read/check out at your library. I suggest a self-evaluation before you do your job search. Maybe it's time to try for a new career.
2. Job hunting tips - videos of job hunting and resume writing tips.
3. Employment law news - where the latest in labor law news will be found.
4. Employment news - where you'll find news on the current job market.
5. Resume - first step in looking for a job is to get your resume in order.
6. Research - research the company before your resume submission.
7. Job search - go on the search.
8. Other - news on employment, writing thank you letters to those who granted you an interview.
9. Staying motivated - looking for a job can at times be discouraging. All the more reason to read motivational materials.
10. Networking - some other places online that might be good to check into. Network, network and then network some more!
Feel free to leave a comment below if you feel there is a resource that needs to be added. I'm always looking for resources.
